I see my drinking as "scheduled"
I saw my drinking "scheduled" in the beginning too. I guess at that point early in my drinking career it was a subtle way of trying to exercise some control over my drinking.

In college I scheduled drinking for weekends. After college I scheduled drinking only after 5pm on some week days. After that I scheduled drinking after 1pm on weekdays...

End story I scheduled drinking every day for countless years...

The fact that you are here suggests that you may have concerns about your drinking habits.

I kinda have a sense that since your drinking is "scheduled" that you have control over it. I thought that way too. Fast forward 20 years and I was drinking every day and felt hopeless to ever break the cycle.

Im glad you are taking a moment to consider the relationship drinking has in your life. Thanks for sharing with us, and keep us posted with how things go for you.
