The very sad thing is that there is really nothing you can do for him that you have not already done. Alcoholics often need continuing help, not just a class that they graduate from. However, he has to make the decision to get that help. I expect they told him about AA in class. I'm glad you found us. It's a miserable and helpless feeling knowing there is nothing you can do for someone you would do anything for. It's good to find support for yourself.
