Gratitude today is for a very special group of ladies I call my Texas PINK Posse' - this is a group of ladies that I attend a once a year Recovery Retreat. It's a multi-program retreat - AA, NA & Al-Anon
Me, being in Al-Anon, at first I was a little leary attending, especially because I was early in my recovery - wondering would I, could I relate to ladies from "the other side of the street" so to say ~ well I will tell you - my HP works in mysterious ways!
I have learned so much from these ladies - I learned true compassion and understanding of this disease, how to be a better woman, mother, daughter, friend ~ I am humbled by the willingness to go to any lengths to help a friend stay clean & sober and to maintain their own sobriety/clean time!
AND their willingness to reach out to help ME when I needed it!
I am truly blessed to have these women as my friends!!
