Klonopin is stronger than Xanax. From what I've read, the equivalent of one-half milligram of Xanax is five milligrams of Valium, while a quarter-milligram of klonopin equals five milligrams of Valium.
Klonopin is far longer acting than Xanax.
And your doctor knows you are in recovery?
