Tonight when I crossed the street, I had to wait for the walk signal. It was late so the cars were straggly but irritatingly too close to cross safely. The light changed when there was but one straggler coming from each direction, with nothing behind them for as far as the eye could see. They had to sit there and watch me cross. I'm quite certain that right now one of them is doing a step one on ME.
