A wonderful book that you might want to look up and get is
'The Complete Do It Yourself Manual'. The copy I had was put out by Better Homes and Gardens (I think)
May have been Reader's Digest.
It was the size of a coffee table book
but it was a wonderful thing to have.
This was back in the early nineties,
so there's probably many more out by now.

I've also learned over the years
to buy a book about whatever car I own also
by a company called 'Chilton's'.
It is just the 'Chiltons Book' then you tell the store guy what year and model car you have. I'm pretty sure you can get those at Wal mart, as well.
