This was obviously a huge trigger for you... why wait until he does it again before you take steps to protect yourself?
That's how my situation got so bad with my ex, everytime he did something that I disagreed with, or something that upset me, I would say "
next time he does that, i'll do something about it". I always waited until "next time".
No more Ms. Nexttime. Once is enough for me.
