Yep. Can't do anything about a person with a shot liver that continues to drink. It's in his hands, and his hands only. Good decision on your part Nancy. Alcohol is certainly prevalent around you it seems.
I want to congratulate you for two weeks of sobriety, in such difficult circumstances. Don't minimize your effort in this.
It's good that you're aware that the only drinking problem you can actually fix is your own.
