I'm glad you're here. I was Day One yesterday and received the same very good advice about seeing a Dr. for withdrawal. Like you, I took one .5mg xanax equivalent yesterday and it did help.
While I'm also not sure I can start TODAY, I'm right with you making the decision to detox as soon as possible. I'll be watching out for you on the boards. Read and post often.
