They do still live with us. It IS disrespectful but it's only a liability if your BF allows it to be. Your BF's recovery is his and if he is going to stay strong and adamant in his program, it's on him. If he's been in recovery for 3 years like you say, I'm sure he has faced situations like this before. If you cannot convince your roommate and her husband to knock off the drinking, he's going to have to use the tools he has to deal with it.
