Thought I would introduce myself. I'm just over 2 weeks sober so still have a lot to learn.
I have known I needed to stop drinking for a long time but was never ready to give it up completely, always thought I could moderate. After a blackout situation the last time I drunk I knew in my heart I had to stop. So far I have found this pretty effortless (I know danger danger) but I really do want to stop drinking. I had joined this site about a month before I quit. I was reading all the posts like a crazy fiend, no doubt that helped sway my decision as I could see myself in so many
Someone earlier on mentioned a site that tells you what your beliefs are, I found the Belief-o-Matic (LOL) and apparently I'm 100% Unitarian Universalism (what ever that is). I hope I am a kind compassionate person, that is what I strive for.
