The road to recovery is exciting!! not easy but.....
I also left a XABF and it was very hard to do so, but I couldn't deny to myself that he was hurting me and didn't give a damn. I couldn't deny reality anymore. Anyway there is much healing to look forward to, lessons learned..... we are here for you, we get you and yes addicts need to be attractive and charming so they can hook others.... that's common... doesn't say anything about you....... its active addiction.
By now I understand it was my own lack of self worth that made me go through many sad relationships but once we are done we are done. There is a much better way to live. THAT I can promise!
