It took me a long time to realize what was happening. My AH twists EVERY conversation, no matter what it is about. I doubted myself for such a long time, but am getting better at blocking him out. I still wonder sometimes if he does this because of the drinking, like his brain has been affected in such a way that he just can't keep details straight. But there are times that I KNOW he is doing it on purpose.
