I left (again) AH in the middle of the night the other night because I knew it was gonna be ugly.
I quietly packed some things while he snored. I put everything in the car and went back to the bed for a bit.
While he slept, I curled up to him and kissed his forehead. In my head, I said goodbye, my love, goodbye.
He didn't move...
I thought maybe I am wrong, maybe he is over this ugly.
Then he rolled toward me opened his eyes, snarled at me and barked, "Get away from me."
That was all I needed. I got up and left.
All I could think on my way home was how much he looked like a man
possessed by a demon as went from sleeping so peacefully, to opening those eyes and becoming so viscious, so quickly, as he seethed hissingly at me.
Wonder if an exorcism might help?
