My favorite part of the flight home is always not long before landing, looking out the window and seeing mountains, mountains and more mountains. (I'm sure it was a favorite part of the flight for my aisle mates, too: she's
finally quiet. Stewardess, please don't give her any more coffee!) It was always my favorite part of the drive home too, when we drove the Alcan - seeing the Wrangell-St. Elias range. When I saw the mountains, I knew we were almost home.
