this is so tough. My experience is that it doesn't take long for an A to find someone else, a new codie to take up his mantle of martyrdom. I'm not trying to upset you even more, just trying to be realistic.
Of course, if you're focuses on your own life and recovery, it won't matter as much.
I hope you get lots of rest. And laughter. That's important.
Not really concerned if he gets a new lover. I do want to see the best for him and see him get better, but if he chooses instead to move on I think I am detached enough that won't bother me.
