To Rhode: Welcome to SR!! You are in the right place, my friend! Just keep reading and posting. My experience was a lot different from yours, I was not married to my A, and we did not have children. While I don't have specific experiences to reference, I will say that you are doing the right thing by starting to research alcoholism. Knowledge is power, and it will help you find your truth.
