I actually videotaped my SRAH a couple of times when he was completely out of it (not during his scary angry phases, but only during his scary half-passed out phases), but I never did show him the videos (just never seemed right).
As far as the show intervention goes, I was thinking about it a few times too without ever seriously considering it though, because I am a very private person and so is my SRAH and his family and I wouldn't want my whole life shown on TV for everyone to see.
