Alaon doesn't even take a stand on this..they say to make your own decision.i have an addict daughter who is in early sobriety and we will be having a dry Thanksgiving this year.It's really early in her recovery and I see no point in pursuing the drinking. But long term..yah, they are gonna have to deal with it. Most recovered people I know can be around alcohol and not tweak out, but I guess it's different for everyone.
