Me: So-and-so has been calling (a mutual friend from church)...wondering if everything is OK...he hasn't seen you at the meetings in awhile.
Him: Well, I'm not a big fan of AA and the 12-Steps...the people there are too extreme.
Me: What do you mean?
Him: Well, like drinking...they will tell you, you can't drink at all, ever again....You know that has never been a trigger for me.
Me: Well, maybe you should bring that up in the meeting...discuss your feelings with the group.
Him: No way, they'll kick me out and never let me come back!!!
