It's a good reminder of how addiction can sneak right back up on ya when you're not diligent in watching for it.
She had recovery you admired and wanted, and yet she relapsed badly. Like addiction, relapse happens to good people too.
My thoughts are that it will serve as a reminder to you, as you move through time with your recovery, that it's a daily reprieve thing, not a lifetime cure.
Prayers going out for your friend and for all addicts who struggle, with their addiction and with their recovery too.
