I will not drink today because I encouraged my sober (since 1988) friend to regain his empowerment he felt he had lost. He thanked me saying "There is nothing like talking to another drunk. Its easy to forget how this works. Thank you for being there."
I will also not drink because although expected to pass away, my friend Craig is still with us and we are hopeful his liver cancer will kick rocks after some chemo. He has mentored so many and has a lot of fight in him. We don't call him "F Bomb" for no reason!!
