Thanks Almath. I have no intention of going near that bottle. Yuk. Like you, I have some horrible memories of the evil witch alcohol turns me into. I only have to think about the events of two weeks ago today and my blood runs cold. I feel lucky to be given this chance to make things right!

Good luck to your husband on his run. My mum and Dad used to run marathons and I did a half marathon walk last year for the local hospice.

I'm sorry to hear about your mum and I will think of you and her in my prayers. Good things can happen though. My lovely dad is 79 and was given the all clear from prostate cancer earlier this year. He had a long course of radiotherapy and saled through it. He is brilliant. It did make him very tired, and he very often still is, but he is so cheerful. He is a true gentleman and he is my icon.

You will be in my thoughts. xxx
