I don't get too drunk. Right, like I couldn't go up and get some more....... There were so many mornings when I would "check" to see how much I drank, and it was always more than I thought I had.
jlr - the roller coaster metaphor was great.
I went to Cedar Point in Cleveland last year, and discovered that not all coasters are the same. There was one I rode on where I didn't even scream - I just sat there thinking "this is total misery." That's what my drinking became for me, too. No fun.
