I've been to just a few meetings & I haven't spoken up yet, still in observation mode, but feeling closer to sharing--it makes me a little anxious though. I haven't gotten a sponsor or anything yet--I'm taking it slow for the most part too, been reading the big book & such. It's a good way to meet other sober people for sure. Glad you had a good experience & that you are doing well
it's nice to have an understanding oldschool friend that you can talk about this lifestyle change with too, that's awesome
