Hi there

Just a post for no other reason than to put some thanks out there to the people that post here.

I don't post regularly myself - mainly because I just don't have the confidence to be posting replies to people who are in desperate situations and in need of a far greater wisdom than I have to offer...

I posted last January (2009) 5 days in to my recovery. I'm now on day 472 and I can think of 3 definite occasions when this forum has saved my skin in difficult situations where I would have fallen before...

I've done this pretty much alone in the real world (although with massive support from my partner). So I call in here two or three times a week. I have a folder where I save all the posts that mean something personally. It's grown pretty large.

So thanks - from me... And unbeknownst thanks from a 20 month old lad... A black lab... And my partner - all of whose lives have immeasurably improved from the strength found within this clean and healing little corner of the web.
