I’m new here so I’m not really qualified to give advice. But one thing I’ve figured out for myself is that there is no contest to see who has the longest sobriety. It’s about living life to its fullest.
For me, living my best life means no alcohol. I only have a few days sober since I drank the other day, but I think I’m starting to get it. One thing I’ve noticed is that sober days seem to last much longer than drunk days. I guess this is because once I start drinking, all meaningful living is over for the day.
Anyway, I’ll end this because I think it’s sounding preachy, but that isn’t my intention. I wish you the best and hope we can all help each other achieve our goals.
