Yes, it is irritating, isn't it? In my experience, St. Patty's day is nothing but a huge drinking fest in the US and sadly, it turned into a day that is eternally coupled to drinking thanks to the liquor industry.
My son just reminded me it is St. Patty's day. I had completely forgotten.
