AA saved my life, but it is not the only way to get & stay sober, it is the only way that worked for me though.
Take it one day at a time and check out all the programs you feel may work for you.
I will say this, no program will work unless one WORKS it & WORKS ALL of the program.
We say in AA that half measures availed us nothing & that is so very true.
Recovery from alcoholism is an all or nothing type of deal, if one is truly an alcoholic they need to understand that today they have no business drinking no matter what.
I can not be half way sober and claim to be in recovery any more then a lady can be pregnant......... but only on Wednesdays!
