To answer your question of long ago, "Have you ever seen him live?"
No, but I would LOVE to. I was very upset to hear he has cancer, but if anyone can deal gracefully with that disease it is him. I have watched him numerous times on PBS and we rent his audio books from the library often. He has so much wisdom packed inside. He recently wrote a book to go along with the movie "The Shift." I will definitely read it. Haven't seen the movie yet. He says if you purchase the book today you can watch the movie for free, BUT I don't currently have the money. It will come in good time.
