Diabetic_Alcoholic!!!
Well I just found out yesterday I am a Type 2 diabetic! My Dr. told me that my blood sugar was 346 after fasting, it is supposed to be like 120 or a little less!
I stuck myself with a needle for the first time in my life yesterday & once this morning...... very tiny needle, does not hurt as much as sticking myself with that stupid lancet to check my sugar.
I was really down in the mouth when I first found out, but then I got to thinking about how hard it was to stay stopped drinking before I really started takiing the steps to heart & applying them to my daily life.... then I thought about step 12, part of which is applying these principles to ALL areas of my life.... a calm came over me & I knew it would be okay.
Anyone else a diabetic alcoholic?
