Okay.... Not harping on you but my experience was that I too stopped for periods without an issue and one day after quitting cold turkey I found myself in an ambulance after having a withdrawal seizure. I don't tell anyone what to do but wanted to share my experience with physical dependency and need for help from doctors some times, even if it is the ER.
I never answered your question, don't know what you got going on, withdrawl or not but my shakes stopped after I quit drinking.
