ladyangelcake has one year sober today
hello to everyone on SR, i would just like to share with anyone who is interested! that today is the aniversary of my one year sober! wow i cannot believe it, when i first came to SR a year ago i was rock bottom, i was mentally and physically shot to pieces and really did not think i could manage a weeks sobriety let alone a year, but all of your kind words and advice spurred me on and made me strong, without SR and AA i truly do not think i could have done this. believe me i had tried to do it alone SO many times before. so thanks again everyone, lets keep supporting each other, and to anyone new to SR or recovery please believe me when i say that there really is a life without alcohol! just give it a chance one day at a time xx
