I didn't know where to post this
Someone encouraged me to post my poem on a thread, so here it goes.
Time poured out cascades up to the sky,
Sinks to depths of the crystal blue seas
Raindrops like tears on the branches of trees
Fall to the ground, giving back to the earth
Wind stirs up leaves of autumn's best hues
They float down an invisible stream
I walk through life like it were a a dream
Hearing the music of love endlessly
Distant laughter and wide open spaces
Hit upon a dissonant string
The beauty of nature comes forth to sing
While its children learn the silence of a busy life
Time poured out drips down from my eyes
Wind and the rain, and the mud in my toes
Distant laughter and wide open spaces
Remind me of how empty this place is
