I'm not religious yet there is way for me to have an effective addiction treatment program. I use psychological principles like the
tools from SMART Recovery. G*d and Higher Power concepts are irrelevant to me. Some people use those concepts...more power to them. I had to find out the hard way as to what works for me. Trial and error with a program that was not for me was a costly learning experience. However I do attend open meetings of AA/NA for support by the friends I have made there.
Keep striving for a better life drug free...life is good drug free.
