It is so true that a grateful alcoholic won't feel the need to drink. True with this alcoholic anyway...
very easy for the gratitute to nosedive though and it can strike without warning very quickly I have found. But I am ever vigilante, not fearfull or anything like that (far from it!) but I am ever aware that I am only ever one drink away. Makes you appreciate these times more! Tis a daily reprieve.
