I have no idea what your doctor might find cinglenluvnit, but after 6 months when I finally got up the courage, my doctor didn't find much at all of any significance from my years of alcohol abuse
Our bodies are remarkably resilient - to a point anyway.
The sooner you go and get it all checked out, the more informed you'll be, and all the more ready for whats ahead in recovery.
My doctor was not judgemental about my alcohol abuse at all.
