I felt a little weird saying 6 months here. I've been off dope, but I've had a few drinks in that time. Still though, I'm more focused on staying off drugs. Part of that is staying away from booze because when I start drinking I want drugs.
Reading this, I just realized that it has been 8 months today for me clean from my DOC. I don't really keep count (it was the date I moved, that's why I remember) and I have had some drinks over that time as well, but nothing like I used to. 8 months is the longest time I have gone not smoking pot in over 21 years. I guess that's kinda something to feel good about!! Thanks for your post and congrats on your 6 months!!!
