Day 33!

Mirage: I am a lucky man… the best thing is that I finally know just how lucky I am.
Asta: Day 2 is way better than Day 0!!! Hang in there… I’m going to need to lean on you guys pretty soon. Dodging all these happy hours and what not are easy when I have my wife to go home too… but she leaves next Friday morning (for the birth)… I will have a week on my own before I join her. The “no harm no fowl” voice has already started talking to me… but my “stay sober game plan voice” is talking a little bit louder. I totally understand where you are coming from… and I’m a bit worried about my week alone. Drinking always starts as a boredom thing for me. ERG! But, I’m staying focused! Eye on the prize, right? This will be good practice… I’ll have a year away from my family next year in Pakistan. Erg! And VC, you are right… the holidays are very lonely… I want to stay sober and saver this year’s Holiday… I won’t make it home in time for Christmas next year.
