Don't give up VC - I bet you everyone here knows exactly how you feel.
Things do get better when you find you can love yourself yes IMO - and the way to start doing that is to stop abusing ourselves, stop drinking and stay stopped.
I'm sorry about school too - are there any scholarship or trainee schemes available?
