It is hard to get sober when your social circle are people like you caught in addiction...
it may be possible to get straight, and stay that way, without making major changes to your life but it certainly wasn't possible for me.
I had to move away from a lot of people.
I found a lot of new friends though
The best advice I can give you is read around here, post as often as like...there's a lot of experience support and hope here
