Thanks for the post.... I know of no one who really needs to not drink who quit on the first try. Humbly on day 79 this time. To me it seems
that sustained sobriety and quality of life are contingent upon some sort of conversion experience. For some it happens with fire and brimstone, others over a period of time, and yet others as a combination (a sort of finding god and struggling with your faith kinda thing). Best of luck.
