At a recent women's convention, I heard a fantastic speaker ...her concept of a
Higher Power was a little different than mine...but hers has helped her not only stay
sober but live abundantly despite living in an "alcoholic home" and suffering horrible
abuse a child. She spoke of living a "yielded" life.
I have been trying to do this...and it has made all the difference.
This part reminded of this..
"One gives gentle cues,
perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness,
and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other. "
