Are you withdrawing from methadone with input and support from a doctor? I ask for two reasons:
  1. Because your taper is far quicker than anything I've experienced
  2. You say you have a son on the way
If you're pregnant and withdrawing then I seriously hope you've discussed this with an obstetrician and a doctor. I'm not saying this to chastise or scare you, I just want you and your son to be safe, and that includes being informed of any potential risks.

My taper from methadone took 6 months, I reduced in small increments and jumped off at 2.5mg. I had acute withdrawal symptoms for two weeks, and general symptoms for 12 months. It's a long haul process and definitely not something you can rush. The good news is that it can be done! I've been there and you're not alone. I wish you all the best with it.
