Congrats on your newfound determination Husky, that's really the biggest step. Making up your mind and sticking to it through thick and thin. It's not an easy road, but a necessary one.
One thing I would mention regarding the psych meds...is your doctor aware you are trying to ween off thes meds?? This really should be done under a doctors supervision as it can be more harmful than helpful sometimes. I know many of us want to be more "natural", but usually the best thing you can do in this regard is to get off the alcohol and see how you are doing off of that, then take on the meds.
