Ran a little over 5 miles this afternoon.
I was thinking during my run how endurance exercise can built fortitude. I think pushing myself to go the extra mile, and not quitting early, helps me do other things in life that require mental fortitude & willpower. I mean there's some stuff in my day I really dread doing, but I tell myself that if I can push myself to run day after day, whatever I dread doing will be a piece of cake.
Just some mental musings while putting one foot in front of the other...
