eeerooo... sometimes when 'issues' arise in daily life I tell myself that if I can run 5 miles, even when I really don't want to, even when the weather is zero degrees, and even when sometimes I want to stop before the run is over, I can manage those things in life that don't require any physical effort.
It works for me. Today can I resist taking a drink and/or getting high?
Yes, because if I have the inner fortitude to always finish that last mile, I can do this.
