I completely empathize with the sleep thing. I know that you're body doesn't get "good" sleep when you're drinking, but I didn't feel sleepy during the day like I do now. I was thinking that I wanted to cut back on the caffeine, but I am seriously needing two cups of coffee in the morning these past two weeks. I figure one thing at a time, I'll worry about the caffeine addiction after I've been sober a few months.
I just try to be productive in my insomnia. Lying in bed when I can't fall asleep drives me crazy, and meditation/deep breathing etc has never worked. So I read until my eyes are heavy, or I do laundry at 1am or something.
