Checking in. Had nothing useful to say on the other threads, so suffice to say I'm still alive. I went shopping today. I have to attend a banquet next weekend (cash bar at the reception... dear God!!!) and I RSVP'd while still dating my ex. Like it or not, we are dinner dates. So I figured it would be easier to not feel awkward if I have new clothes and look better than him (which I do anyway
). So I found the coolest shirt ever and I think it'll be ok. Kinda worried about that cash bar thing though, because I have proven I have trouble around alcohol still. Too much temptation at this point, and then being stuck with my ex as my date on top of that. Argh!!! Should be an interesting night.
