We have at least 7" of snow on the ground right now. Nice, perfect snow. We get snow about once a year, sometimes twice, and it's never this nice. It's always too icy or too mushy or melts as soon as it hits the ground. My kids spend the other 363 days of the year BEGGING for snow.
So what are they doing? Sitting inside playing Lego Star Wars on Xbox.
I'm the one getting frostbite in my toes because my feet are totally buried in the snow as I make piles and piles of snowballs. I'm
attempting to make a snowman but I'm failing pretty miserably. I realize that I have no knowledge of how to make a snowman. I've only ever done it twice before and both times the results were pretty lame. We actually have enough snow that when I scrape some up to make part of the snowman I don't hit grass! THAT NEVER HAPPENS! My snowmen always look more like scarecrows because they have long bits of dead grass sticking out everywhere.
I think Li'l Man is going to come outside with me until he gets too cold. I'm going to try to get him to lay down and make a snow angel.
I just might have to post some pictures here later today.
